SmokiesGT Fundraiser Recap
In April, DCM participated in the annual SmokiesGT fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis. Smokies GT is a community of 1,100 Porsche GT enthusiasts who love coming together for drives and events in the beautiful Smoky Mountains. Over the past 10 years, they’ve made it their mission to give back, donating over $4.5 million to charity. It’s all about great cars, great people, and making a difference along the way. This year's event raised $1.2 million for CF and $300k for Colon Cancer. This is the second year Simon and Rebecca have had the opportunity to join this amazing event to pay it forward.
New Faces at DCM
On another positive note, we have hired a new parts specialist, Rusty, to manage our daily operations and e-commerce site. We have also hired a fifth Porsche factory-trained technician, Seth, to help with workflow in the shop in order to improve lead times for all of your Porsche service, repair, and modification needs. Let's welcome them to the DCM family!
Upcoming Events
Save the date. DCM's Private Open Track Day at Roebling Road will be Friday, October 3, 2025. This event is for solo and advanced solo drivers only. Keep an eye out for an email with all the info as we get closer to October.
We have decided to move our 10-year anniversary party to September to avoid the extreme FL heat we're already experiencing. We'll announce a date in our next newsletter.
DCM will be hosting a Drivers Education Tech Session on June 21st from 9 am to 12 pm here at the shop. If you've ever wondered about driving your Porsche on track or want to feel more confident in your skills this event is for you. Food & Drinks will be provided. RSVP through Club registration is required to join this event.
